​​Project FUTURE provides support for full time doctoral Scholars through: 

  • Annual competitive stipend plus tuition and benefits (2% annual increase)
  • $2000 in moving expenses
  • $1500 for software and course materials annually
  • $1500 research funding annually
  • A new laptop computer and external monitor
  • 3 years of conference travel funding
  • Interdisciplinary Mentoring and Cross-University Mentoring and Collaboration
  • Opportunities for apprenticeship and collaboration
  • Opportunity to be part of a cohort of 8 engaging scholars

Project FUTURE is made possible through funding from the Personnel Development to Improve Services and Results for Children with Disabilities 2021 New Award Program: Preparation of Special Education, Early Intervention, and Related Services Leadership Personnel (CFDA 84.325D), which is provided through the United States Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services, Office of Special Education Programs.
